PSRA season opener saw a high of 17, 13 adults, 4 youth, and a few demo rides for some visitors.  There were 4 supermotards, 2 CRB125’s, and the usual gang of NSR50’s and thumper class.  Special shout out to our out of town members for making the drive (Vince from Saskatoon and the Finn’s from Moose Jaw with their spanky new trailer to make us all trailer-envy)

Mathew Finn started off the year with a quick crash and all the adults were happy that they did not have to take that honor.  Thanks for taking one for the team, Mathew!  Well done!  Doug had a wardrobe malfunction which led to the quote of the day “The faster he rode, the lower his pants got!”  Meagan is just joining our crew this year and had some serious progress on her first day, way to go, girl!!  Same goes to Jay who displayed his skills as well as shared his snacks between sessions, thanks man! Christina joined her boys (both big and small) to make racing a full family affair, awesome!

The rain stayed away and the sun even gave a few sunburns on faces.  An awesome day ended with a mock race which saw a first place finish by Jana (who already won her speech competition that morning so guess it was her day!).  Greg narrowed out Robin on the last lap to take second with Robin claiming third.

8days until
2012 National Mini Bike Championship
